During my first visit, I stayed with an artist I barely knew in an apartment full of creepy sculptures and had a wild time.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve now been to the <a href=\"https:\/\/inews.co.uk\/topic\/berlin?ico=in-line_link\" class=\" post_in-line_link\">Berlin<\/a> 10 times. It ticks all my <a href=\"https:\/\/inews.co.uk\/topic\/city-break?ico=in-line_link\" class=\" post_in-line_link\">city break<\/a> boxes: art and culture, easily walkable, delicious food and drink, street markets and fun nights out \u2013 and no, I\u2019m not talking about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.berghain.berlin\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Berghain<\/a> (the hedonistic club with an exclusive entry policy), even in my 20s, that was a bit much for me.
